Nene has been doing well this year with the Wizards including a nasty game winner last week.
But now according to Yahoo! Sports, the Washington big man will be out 4-6 weeks with a sprained MCL in the left knee.
One night after dropping a 30 points on the New Orleans Pelicans, Nene was forced to leave the Wizards – Cavs game on Sunday.
This is a big blow for the Washington faithful as the players next in line are Trevor Booker and Al Harrington. Those aren’t exactly ideal replacements.
And with the East finally gaining speed this is not the time for injury troubles…
