To say things between the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards have been chippy would be an understatement. Players flying through the air, injuries, and smack talk have plagued this entire series in the best way possible. This is playoff basketball, this is two teams fighting for their playoff lives. Unfortunately, this also leads to some aggression that manifests in an extremely negative way.
In Game three between the Celtics and Wizards, Kelly Olynyk set a friendly high screen to Kelly Oubre Jr.’s face. This enraged Oubre who was obviously sick of being battered. He sprung up and ran straight at Olynyk, who then flew two feet back in a successful attempt to make the contact look worse than it was. This brief moment could disrupt Washington’s season as he is being punished by the league.
The NBA is suspending Washington’s Kelly Oubre for Game 4 vs. Boston for altercation with Kelly Olynyk, league sources tell @TheVertical.

The Wizards anemic bench just lost an asset and it could spell trouble for the Wizards in game 4. Washington will need big performances out of Bradley Beal, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Marcin Gortat with the usual greatness of John Wall. This could be a tall order for a team already down 2-1.
