John Wall and the Washington Wizards shocked the Atlanta Hawks fan base when they took Game 1 in Atlanta, and much of it was to the help of their duo in Beal & Wall. Wall sat out game 2 because of an injury sustained in Game 1 on his wrist and hand.
According to the Washington Wizards official Press Release:
“Wizards guard John Wall underwent multiple examinations yesterday that revealed five non-displaced fractures in his left wrist and hand.
Wall and the team are currently in consultation with multiple physicians and specialists to determine the best course of action and his playing status has yet to be determined. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.”
Wall’s status for Game 3 is still unclear. The great thing about this series is that it doesn’t start until Saturday in Washington. So that means that Wall has 2 days to figure out if he will play for the Wizards when they come back home. If the Wizards want any chance at winning this series they need John Wall. He has the ability to control the tempo and momentum, which helped the Wizards in Game 1.
