For this upcoming season, the Washington Wizards will have two new jersey sets. One will be sleeved and will be the pride uniform for the Wizards, while the other will spell out Wizards in chinese to help the team celebrate the Chinese New Year.

With a lot of NBA getting uniforms to celebrate Chinese New Year, it comes as a little surprise that Washington was not one of the first considering they are located in Chinatown.
Sleeved jerseys have always been debated in the NBA whether it’s players saying they don’t like to wear them or fans thinking they are ugly. It’s a trend that isn’t going to stop as long as Adidas continues to make the jerseys.
For Washington, many of their fans have mixed opinions on the new jerseys, especially the sleeved pride uniforms. Maybe some of those opinions will change once they see them on court.
@WizardsTalk they’re decent, good to see variety

@WizardsTalk I don’t like sleeves on a basketball jersey. They look totally out of place

With the new pride uniforms, there was even this one crazy idea.

That may never happen, but in DC, we can only hope that one day it will.
