The Washington Wizards haven’t been impressive at all. Lucky for them the Eastern Conference is extremely tight so you’ll have to be bad on Philadelphian proportions to lose sight of the Playoffs.
But regardless of that it doesn’t give the Wizards the excuse to try and be the Warriors when they don’t have the personnel or the health to do it. Health has been the Wizards’ main problem for a couple of years and Alan Anderson’s further pushback on return is the latest case.
Washington Wizards swingman Alan Anderson, who hasn’t played a game this season, is not expected to make his season debut for another three to five weeks, according to two people with knowledge of the situation.
Now Anderson would be great for the Wizards. It’s just the fact that he hasn’t even played a game yet this season. If they had Anderson they would have some more success when they go small on the court. But you can’t exactly go small when you have no depth. Anderson looked good at times when he was at Brooklyn. The Wizards can only hope he still has it when he finally checks in.
