I’ve been longing for Beyoncé’s tour to reach our country and I don’t know if there really is a concert next year or what because I heard a rumour that’ll be tentative on November this year then the next thing I heard is on 2014. While reading those news/rumors, it makes me happy and at the same time it’s like killing me softly because I can’t wait any longer. This year was my debut year or turning 18 years old, which is specially celebrated in our country. I was hoping that this would Bey’s year and yet, no album, no tour dates here and a single (hoping on 1st week of dec). Felt like nothing much special happened in my debut year, I almost had my celebration stopped just so I can watch Bey’s concert (because I thought it will happen on nov). I hope you can consider my comment because I really, as in really really love Beyoncé and that it’s my life long dream to watch her sing with her and do the uh-oh dance with her. Thank you so much! ??

  14. Peter Willis says:

I deserve to win because I am a huge fan of hers. She is the definition of a strong woman and a great performer. I have not seen her live and it would be an honor to see the Queen perform. I have been real sick lately and it would be a blessing to see the woman that i admire the most (besides my mom) in person. Thanks for the opportunity.

I should win these tickets because, i have loved destiny childs, and beyonce from the begining, with the original group and there after, i even have tickets to go to her show once, but my son was sickly and i couldn’t make it, i cried the entire night, and due to my son being sick i can’t buy any tickets there after, i would love to win so that i could see my idol in person, OMG that is my greatest wish!!!!!

I should win because I’m one of Beyonce’s biggest fans and honestly I believe I deserve it because my family is going through a very hard time right now and losing a family member is one of the worst things you can go through and I believe winning this contest will give me some kind of hope nd happiness cause Lord knows I need it. I just want something positive for once to happen to me and I need this I need to take my mind off of everything that’s going on with me for just one night and enjoy myself and get lost in the music listening to one of my most favorite artist. Everybody might not understand how winning a Beyonce contest will help but you have no idea how much it will mean to me just to know that I have something fun and entertaining to look forward to.. Well that’s why I should win…

I’m a single mother of 2 who absolutely LOVES Bey! I’ve been on since Destiny’s Child and have never seen her live. Without these tickets I’m afraid I’ll miss her once again. With both of my munchkins celebrating birthdays at the end of the year ( one before Thanksgiving, the other a week before Christmas) and the Holidays, priorities will not allow me to partake in The History that is Queen Bey yet again. Make my Christmas wish come true.

  25. Audrey Leeper says:

My name is Audrey and I feel like i should win because Beyonce is everything to me. I have all 4 of her solo albums and dvds on top of dvds. I have 3 perfume sets and i buy all i can when it comes to her. I love Bey with all mu heart and to see her live in New York i would die! Beyonce has gotten me through everything. House fire, bad situations, all of it!

Im 18 and preparing to be a firefighter. I cannot express what winning these tickets would mean to me. Beyonce is my hero and idol. She brings me happiness and joy. She lets me cry when i need to and gives me strenth when i have nothing. Please make me a winner! You would make my life.

Beyonce inspires me so immensely that it is beyond simple lengths of understanding. With me being a male, raised mostly by his mother and having a boundless respect for women, seeing the beautiful, talented, and strong willed woman she is has only increased that respect. I am also a vocalist, songwriter, and performer who truly looks to her as one of my biggest inspirations by far. Her desire and passion for her craft is one that is unbelievably noble in my eyes. The time, hard work and dedication she devotes to her fans through music and art make me only want to strive harder to be successful. With me being fond of having many doors slammed in my face and disappointments, I recall her saying on her debut album that her label told her that none of the songs on it were hits and still she broke through that negativity and diligently worked to make that album known to the world and contrary to their belief, Crazy In Love, Naughty Girl, Baby Boy, Me Myself & I, and Dangerously In Love were all hit singles. The way she didn’t take no for an answer or let someone in a higher position than her stop her dream, inspires me in ways no one on Earth may understand. She’s a beautiful woman, mother, wife, and entertainer who gives her all to her fans and I respect her tremendously for doing so. I consider myself one of HUGEST fans and this is the reason why I want to see her at this concert so very much!!!

well, I’m a 19 years old girl. I love and admire Beyoncé since I was 8 years old. I’ve tried to be in her concerts of Madrid twice (I’m from the south of Spain)but the first time I was too little and my mum was afraid and then I couldn’t go because I had all my final exams. This year she didn’t go to Spain so I decided to go to London but the ticket sold out and then I pray that I could go to the Chime for Change in London, it was a lot of money but I was keeping it for this. Unfortunately, my grandma died the day before I planed buying the tickets and I was really sad to go or to think buying them.
Now, I’m living in Costa Rica because I’m studying Medicine and I would die to go to the Mrs Carter’s World Tour. Beyonce has being my DIVA so many years, she is one of my stronger role model and see her live…I need it. Please, please give me the chace to see her in NY, give me the chace to live my dream. Thank u and sorry for my English :)

I believe i should win the grand prize because I see a lot of myself in Beyonce & vice versa. I’ve always been a huge fan of hers since she first came out with destiny’s child. My birthday is this saturday & because i lost my job from being in & out the hospital, i have no plans (I’ll be 24). I’ve aways wanted to see Bey in person because she’s such an inspiration to me & has inspired me in so many ways including singing.

  31. Ramona Frazier says:
    December 4, 2013 at 1:57 am

Also, my best friend was killed the night before Beys bday this year (you can check my ig for proof @_wicked_beauty) & i wasn’t able to celebrate Beys bday like i normally do. My friend & i were in a singing group with another friend of ours & we would always rehearse to Beys or destiny’s childs’ songs. To win these tickets will be the greatest thing to ever happen to me, not only in general but mainly for 2013. This year has been very trying for me, these tickets would mean a lot.

  32. Roland Castro-Boulware says:

I should win because, although I saw her on my birthday in Las Vegas in June and just now in San Jose on the 2nd, seeing her again would make this the best year ever. I am 24 and never went to a concert until my 24th birthday and I was more in love with Beyoncé after that. Didn’t even know that it was possible to love her more than I did. My sister’s birthday is on 12/20 and it would be awesome to take her with me to enjoy this experience since she hasn’t seen Beyoncé yet.

I wanna win beyonce tickets so I can take a good friend of mine to see her. My friend took me to see her in Philly. She bought us box seats & wouldn’t let me give her a dime for it. Beyonce is her hero. She was almost in tears when she came out on stage. I’d love to be able to repay the favor & take her to see Bey in NY. Especially since she also loves Jay-z. & who knows maybe he’ll make an appearance in his hometown!

Just like everyone else on here, I believe it should be me who wins. I’m a senior in high school and on top of the inevitable stress of this year, my mom had to take a lower paying job due to her health and she and i haven’t spent quality time together in a very long time. My father was abusive and has been of the picture my entire life. Beyonce is truly my inspiration. When I was younger my sister said I used to tell everyone when I grow up, I’m gonna be Beyonce, despite the fact that I can’t sing to save my life. Beyonce and her philanthropic acts has truly inspired me to be a better person, she’s the reason I would like to go to medical school and join Doctors Without Borders. Her relationship with Jay-Z is also something I admire. While most famous couples have all of their business in the media, Beyonce and Jay-Z are reserved and poised and amazing together. The love that they seem to have for each other is something I believe every couple should strive for. Her body of course is amazing and her smile is flawless. She is the greatest singer of our day. I love all the movies that she’s been in, even Epic where she was just a voice. I have been a true member of the Beyhive since I can remember. Going to this concert would mean so much to me and my mom. It would be an experience that we would cherish for the rest of our lives. That’s why I believe I should win the tickets.

i should win because i have every beyonce cd and destiny’s child cd and i lover her and she insper me so much and i would faint if i ever saw her and she inspers me so much and she is my role model and i love how humble she is and how much she loves her fans and how she always say she is not lucky she is blessed and i love how hard she works and i love how long she has been in the music industry and does not let any of the haters get to her and i love the way she keeps her personal life private and i love they way at the billboard awards she thanked the former destiny’s chid members. i love how she lifts up girls. i love how when she was in destiny’s child and someone said somthing mean like destiny’s child is like the show survior and that inspired her to write survior and it became #1 i also love when people were calling them goldiggers that inspired her to write indpendent woman and was #1 for 12 weeks. and that are my reason why i shold see beyonce because when im mad i listen to her and in her song there is all ways a message and i want finally see my role model and insperation.

“Life is but a dream.” When I first heard Beyoncé say that, it all became crystal clear. Life is what you make it! Everything Beyonce has accomplished in her career as well as her personal all started from a dream. It is admirable how she has worked hard for her dreams and set goals, which inspires me to do the same. I have followed her career since 1997 and have witnessed her growth as an artist and a woman. To be in that audience would be such a pivotal moment…almost full circle. Through her, I’ve learned to be dedicated to my craft and let my passion lead me into the right direction. She is the ultimate example for…everything. I would love to attend the concert and witness the dream of a little girl in Houston, Texas come true before my very eyes.

If I got to to go to this concert to see my favorite artist of all time LIVE, it would seriously change my life!!! I have all of Beyonce’s albums, concert dvd’s, and watch all her videos, and can name and sing any song off of ANY of her albums in a HEARTBEAT! Please make my wish come true! Y

I’ve tried to get tickets to see this concert SO many times over these past couple of months but to no avail and it really hurts my spirit every time I get my hopes about hopefully being able to experience The Mrs. Carter Show and it doesn’t work out. My dad tried his hardest to get me a ticket here in ATL but he couldn’t afford and it sold out extremely fast. I’ve tried every contest out there and none have chosen me to be able to experience my dream of being at the Mrs. Carter Show! I would seriously be overwhelmed with joy and on the verge of TEARS of I won these tickets! I live in ATL but I I push through ANYTHING to be at this concert (flight, bus, train) if I win these tickets! Please read this and see how much this means to me!

Not only that but Beyonce has helped me get through so much stuff with her music and the songs she writes honestly I don’t think I would’ve overcome anything if it wasn’t for god and her. Any Beyonce fan will tell you, she is more than just a musical artist. Beyonce is like a religion, and we all worship at the church of Holy Bey. No one sings the diaries that are in our hearts quite like she, while being poised and humble and graceful. She maintains her core that made us diehards in the days of Destiny’s Child, through the changing roster of bandmembers, and on her solo journey. She is so real and invokes an emotional response from me everytime I hear her voice, whether its belting out her songs, sharing intimate pictures on insta, or on interviews showing how awesome she is.
Hope I win, I would love the opportunity to see her live!

I know you guys at Def Pen Radio have read these entries and seen that EVERYONE says they love Beyonce, and as do I. But I feel a connection with Beyonce as a musical artist that I can’t feel with any other. Lately my parents and I have been experiencing some really rough financial issues especially with me now being a first year college student with balance payments and books, which is part of the reason why my dad could not afford for me to get a ticket to The Mrs. Carter Show in ATL as I stated on a previous post. If you guys granted my wish by giving me these tickets, you’d be doing someone who has tried his hardest to be at this concert, a chance to connect with his FAVORITE artist of all time live in person. I would seriously be so gracious and thankful to you guys if I won! I pray that you guys notice me. I know you guys are probably tired of my posts but I NEED you all to know just how badly I really want this. I hope you read this and realize why I should be your grand prize winner.

“The ocean makes me feel really, really small.”

In a world full of over the top, in your face celebrities, Beyoncé has been a breath of fresh air. For me, like many of her fans, she caught my eye the very moment I saw her and heard her voice on MTV. I saw Destiny’s Child for the first time in their video for the “No, no, no” remix featuring Wyclef Jean, and that was all it took. I still have in my collection along with everything else with Beyoncé’s unique, angelic voice. She is amazing; I need to see her live before I die. I must make the pilgrimage to the Mecca of her stage and bask in her immaculate glory as she sings her gospel to my humble heart. Hopefully, you awesome folks can help!

Her music moves me. “Halo” for instance, transports me in a heavenly state, especially when she performs it live. I get goose bumps and all tingly inside because she sings it to her fans, her love and appreciation is touching and true. The words in her songs are honest and like her voice they can easily hit every note in the spectrum of emotionality and intensity all the while seeming simply effortless every time. She is an inspiration to all and she continues to encourage greatness within me. When I was a teen I was suddenly diagnosed with a form of arthritis and though it depressed and hindered me for a while her music literally moved me and I’ve tried my best to overcome the difficulties and push forward despite my physical limitations ever since. The positivity that Beyoncé and her music have brought to my life has been priceless, and I continue to have faith in what I do.

Much like Beyoncé, I have gone forward in life, doing what I knew I could and fighting every step of the way. A little over three years ago I made the bold and dangerous decision to leave my comfortable life (nice home, car, and great job) after I was accepted to Hunter College in New York City. I knew that I was taking a risk but I also knew deep down inside that this is where I belonged and what I needed to do. Listening to Beyoncé sing her songs about adversity, making difficult decisions and being a survivor and a strong woman, I am always able to push through so I knew it was a leap I had to make.
There have been many times especially with living in Manhattan where there are opportunities to see shows and concerts but as a student devoted full time to her studies while working two jobs to pay the rent, my finances here have been barely enough to keep me going. But I have been blessed in many other ways, through the generosity of scholarships and grants I have still been able to maintain a focus on my studies and the ability to still have somewhat of a social life due to the support of great friends that understand and push me along the way, they also buy me drinks and listen to my #collegeproblems. A couple of years ago a few girl friends and I went on a road trip to Virginia and our soundtrack was nothing but Beyoncé songs. With the windows down and the music blasting all the way we became closer and I’m always grateful that my friends love her as much as I do, how could anyone not love Beyoncé? ..A ridiculous question to even ask by the way.

It’s hard not being able to afford things, living on ramen noodles and lemon water at times isn’t conducive to a healthy life nor one where I could ever afford a ticket to see the Queen B live despite the numerous times she has been in the area and just to torture myself, when tickets for this show went on sale a few months back I got online exactly at sale time and it was sold out in seconds (so I’ve cried a lot, maybe). But despite this I still listen to her music faithfully because it’s the best, I watch all the documentaries because her words always reach me and give me life, and I play videos of her performances on YouTube all the time, it’s one of my favorite things to do when I’m down and depressed and overwhelmed by everything I’m doing.

But alas, I’m a survivor, I’ve worked hard and the universe provides! So here I am four years later, in my last semester about to finish college in two weeks and graduate with my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Africana and Puerto Rican/Latino Studies. It has been one of the hardest things I’ve done, I’ve struggled in so many ways and my friends and family can attest to this but I believe the reward has been well worth the risk. Beyoncé has been there all along, as a young woman in a male dominated world she has broken through many barriers and taken tremendous risks in her life while remaining faithful to herself, her family and her heart. Her selflessness only pushes me in my efforts to remain strong and persevere and still be a truly good person through the difficult times and her drive to perform and do her job as best as she can tells me that I can and MUST do the same to continue to thrive.

It would completely make my day, month, year, and my entire life if I were blessed enough to see the Queen herself, live in all her majesty. I would feel humbled to be in her presence and sing along with the songs that have been the soundtrack of so many momentous events and emotions that I have lived in my life so far. I certainly think it would be poetic icing on the cake as I finish my degree and celebrate the holidays in such high spirits.

Winning these tickets would literally be such a blessing to me. I often catch myself daydreaming EVERYWHERE I go about Beyoncé and her music and this concert. It’s a little scary sometimes how I just drift off dreaming about being face to face with Beyoncé at The Mrs. Carter Show!!! With me being a singer and growing up and seeing how much of a passionate, beautiful, and TALENTED songstress she is, it has been the main reason why I keep trying to make it in the music industry. I live in ATL where not a lot of people are genuine about their business, so when you’re a starry-eyed child with a dream only of being as musically successful as Beyoncé and always falling short of getting your big opportunity it is really heartbreaking. But every time a disappointment takes place, I’d go home and drown myself in Beyoncé’s music. Her “I Am…Sasha Fierce” album really takes me to another place when I’m feeling somber. She allows me to free myself from the sadness and disappointments I may experience with my musical endeavors. She gives me hope that if you always strive and persevere, you can achieve any goal in life. I literally base all of my work and music around Beyoncé sometimes without even knowing. That’s because I feel so in tune with her as an artist on a level that surpasses all the others in the industry. Whenever I have free time (and even when I don’t), if you ask me what I’m doing my answer will be “Watching this Beyoncé video” or “On Beyoncé’s tumblr”. I’m just so fascinated by her; even so much to the point to where she inspired my college radio show “All 4 Music” that I have at Jacksonville University (my college). I chose the number “4” because that number is so very special to Beyoncé. It’s the day she was born (9/4/81) and it’s also her husband’s bday (12/4/81). You can also see how much it means to her because her 4th album’s name is ‘4’. This is also another display of my connection to Beyoncé because just so coincidentally, in naming my show “All 4 Music” I realized my show time is at 4 pm, and I also start every single show with a “4 The Love of Beyoncé” segment with 4 of her songs back to back. This all ties back into how I said I incorporate Beyoncé into every creative thing I do. I show her that much love because she deserves it for being a light in my life through her artistry and music. I cannot describe how much it would mean to me if you guys gave me these tickets and made me the grand prize winner! I live all the way in ATL and SEARCHED for this competition because I want it THAT badly. Def Pen Radio, I will drive 22 hrs on the megabus (because I can’t afford a flight) to see this woman in The Mrs. Carter show! Just grant me this opportunity, PLEASE!

Hi, my name is Malique K. Qualls… Im 15 years old and I loved Beyoncé ever since the Bills, Bills, Bills song came out… I should win the first place prize because 1) I have never ever attended a Beyoncé Concert. It has always been my dream to go. Also, 2)Everytime I enter in a contest, I always been denied because of my age but I feel like it isn’t fair for some younger child to go to the concert who hardly knows anything about Beyoncé and 3) Whenever I ask my mom, she always says yes but always disappoints me by saying “it’s sold out” or ”
it’s too expensive”. I just want to say thank you for giving out this raffle. I would be glad and thankful if I win. Thank You.

I have followed Beyonce’s career since Destiny’s Child and since then I’ve collected posters, magazines, albums, DVDs, and saved my ticket as souvenir from the past concert. When I see Beyonce perform she gives me this hope /self esteem that I can do anything I put my mind to and I love that about her. I also love the fact that she displays grace and class , she is s role model for every girl young or older. I also believe I deserve these tickets because for one I’ve never been to the Barclay Center and two I’ve never had floor seats to any concert, let alone floor seats to Beyonce concert. I love you Bey! Your my inspiration :)

I just want to say thank you guys so much for giving us the opportunity to win these tickets. I dont want to say I “should win” but I will say that I would be forever grateful if I did win. Honestly speaking, I have always liked beyonces music but I wasnt in love with it like I am now. The year her album “4” came out I was going through a really rough stage in my life and that album kept me going. It touched me in such a way that I fell in love with Beyonce and her music. Any time i felt like i was having a hard day i would just let that play through and it would immediately help me carry out the rest of the day. During this time she became an inspiration to me. Not saying that the roughness has passed in its entirety but It’s easier to deal with, with the help of Beyone’s music. She has become more than just Beyonce the artist she in essence became a little more human in my eyes. Celebrities are generally so far removed from the world but with her music it helped to see and understand her journey through life a lot more. Seeing her live would be the most amazing thing to happen to me. It would literally make my LIFE. I would never be able to afford these tickets, especially with how quick they sell out.

I want to start off by saying how immensely proud I am of Beyonce. She has grown so much over the years and it has become quite overwhelming honestly. I remember going to my first Beyonce concert in 2007…I also remember how easy and stress-fress getting tickets were. Fastforward to 2013 and she is larger than life. In 2013 alone I’ve witnessed Beyonce turn into ICON status before my very eyes. The demand for The Mrs. Carter Show is something I have never seen in my life! Tickets selling out in a matter of seconds. Merchandise flying off the website. Scalpers selling tickets for outrageous prices. INSANITY. As a fan, I’m finding it harder and more of a struggle to keep up with Mrs. Carter. I think it’s safe to say that she is dabbling in Michael Jackson territory now. As she continues to grow, I’m just blessed that I can sit here and witness it all. Knowing that I’ve been a loyal supporter since 1997, buying every CD, DVD, Frangrance, Merchandise, etc. and played a microscopic part in her success makes me extremely proud. Whether I end up at the show or not, someday I would just like to thank her and let her know that I’ll be rooting for her to win until the wheels fall off. Even if the wheels fall off, I’ll be right there with a spare!

I want to win these tickets so bad to the point that I am cutting into my time to study for finals to submit my comments! To the point that I am willing to ride on a bus for 22 hours to NY from ATL if I win tickets to see this concert. Anybody can just get on here and express their love for Beyonce, but the thing is, I do that so much on a regular basis to the point where it’s literally second nature to me. You guys at Def Pen Radio would really be taking my fandom over Beyonce to the next level if you made me your grand prize winner. I NEED to win these tickets because I absolutely loveeeeee Beyonce Giselle Knowles and her music. From the song she made with Camron back in the day to the break up songs like resentment and new shoes and free to her love songs I feel like I can relate to most of her music. Then there’s her songs like ego, get me bodied and freakum dress that makes you believe that’s you are Beyonce for a quick second when you’re in your zone lol. Her songs really have meaning to them and it would mean everything to me to have the opportunity to have that experience.

Sometimes I think I’m being annoying to you guys by posting all of my heartfelt comments and tweeting you guys and sometimes I wonder if I even stand a chance in your eyes. All I know is, is that I’ve been expressing everything I have left in me about why I am so deserving of these concert tickets and being the grand prize winner! Beyonce is my queen and is in my opinion THE greatest artist of my generation. I consider you guys at DPR a true light and blessing in my life because God made your competition appear to me just in the nick of time. Right when I had thought there was no more hope for me being able to see this show that I want to see so very badly, you guys gave me another opportunity to convert my dream to reality. It’s just crazy how life works out that way. I believe this is my 7th or 8th post, I’m not really sure, I’ve lost count! Y’all, seriously, I’m staying up at ridiculous hours thinking about this competition and things I could say in my next post to you guys so that I can WIN! I support DPR on twitter and instagram and literally watch every post you guys make. Just being extremely hopeful about winning and anticipating this Friday 12/13/13, the day you guys announce the winner!!! I do not care where I will be or what predicament I’m in at that moment, if you guys tweet me or contact me telling me that you’ve chosen me as your grand prize winner, I will drop EVERYTHING, PRAISE GOD, thank you guys ENDLESSLY and support you & follow you forevermore! Like I said earlier, I feel like I should win the grand prize because this contest is just so coincidental and right on time in my life for me to be able to experience the magnificence that is the Mrs. Carter Show in NY! I won’t let me living in ATL stop me AT ALL. I will ride the bus, plane, or train to be at this show! Idk how many more ways to express my desire to be the grand prize winner to you DPR! It’s practically written all over my face. I hope you guys see how much I truly want this. Please, it’d literally make me the happiest person in the UNIVERSE, WORLD, AND THE BEYHIVE!!!

    Hi,

There are three reasons why I should win these tickets:

no. 1. I’m flying to Brooklyn NY all the way from FINLAND (Europe)and since Beyonce didn’t have the chance visit my country on her european tour it would be amazing if I could finaly see her!

no. 2. I have allways wanted to see Beyonce perform since she is an amazing, empowering and inspirational woman!

no. 3. It would be the best 30th birthday present to my dear friend (who’s also an amazing, empowering and inspirational woman herself)if I could take her to the concert!

I should win these tickets because as of now nothing else has gone right in my life. The year 2013 has been an extremely difficult one. I lost my job, I’ve had two immediate household members become extremely sick, another have a near death experience, one of my best friends parents is terminally ill, I lost my home, and the list goes on. Throughout it all I have tried to remain positive and the one thing that has kept me going is music. Musicians such as Beyonce should realize the amazing things they do for people like me. Every day I am presented with a situation in which it might be reasonable for me to give up, but I haven’t, because of music. Something happens to me when I listen to Beyonce’s songs. Her songs bring such a happiness to my heart, I can’t help but smile when I listen to them. I go into another world. Her motivation and persistence makes me feel like there are ways to overcome and come out on top. I remember watching her documentary, hearing her speak about her miscarriage showed me that she is human and not “just a celebrity”. It made me feel even more connected to her, appreciate her music THAT much more. I should win these tickets because going to this concert will show me that this year can end well, that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Not to be a sap, but I have never won anything in my life. Winning something like this, something that is actually meaningful, will mean the world to me. It will give me the hope I need to move forward into 2014. Winning these tickets will make me feel a happiness I have not felt in a very long time. I deserve to win because I want them just that badly. I won’t make this that much longer, as how I feel cannot be put into words, but if you guys truly are picking a winner based off of these comments, know that this would change my life.

Back again to explain to you guys just how much I need you guys to choose me as the grand prize winner! Ever since the day I got word of this contest it’s all I’ve been thinking about! I religiously make comments on you guys’ website everyday, follow you on twitter and ask you questions simply because I want to make every single effort possible towards making you see why I should win these concert tickets which was the initial rule of this contest in the first place. As I’ve explained to you guys I live in ATL and I knew it was going to be a hassle trying to find an affordable way to the concert next Thursday especially with some of the financial struggles my parents and I are going through with me being at college. I want this so bad that today I found an Amtrak train ride online that’s at an affordable price from ATL to NY. It is 17 hours long. I repeat, SEVENTEEN hours long. And I do not care AT ALL. I will sit on a train from ATL to NY for 17 hours straight RAIN, SNOW, SLEET, OR HAIL if you guys choose me as your grand prize winner, because I know the reward when I step off that train will be me getting to experience the most magical night of my life at The Mrs. Carter Show! This should show you that my desire for the concert tickets and my love for Beyonce surpasses all magnitudes. I don’t want to give you a life story because you guys couldn’t verify the things I tell you I go through. But all I want you to know and see is my desire, passion, and drive I have to fight to be your grand prize winner DPR! That’s all I can do. I know that’s what you guys want to see in someone you choose to give such a valuable prize to anyway! That is genuinely me. I’d be forever gracious if you chose me and I promise you that! I want to be at this concert so bad I can literally feel myself there in the arena, in front of Bey, singing along to every single word she sings, living my dream. It’d be a true blessing to me you guys and I hope you see that. This would also be my first time ever getting out of the south and going up north to NY. All of my friends brag about living in NY to me all the time while their in college and doing big things and sometimes I feel just left behind by a lot of my friends. Winning the grand prize would just give me hope that there’s something bigger for me in life. I hope you guys see my sincerity and longing to be at this concert. I’ll be on my knees praying that you do until this Friday!!!

Everyone has an Idol. A person who has changed their life. Molded their personality, contributed words that made the person they are. I just so happened to have never met that the person who did that for me, but Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter is that individual. Through something so simple as a 5 x 5 Compact Disc, she helped me mourn the loss of a cousin, she helped me heal during a break up, she’s helped me celebrate birthdays, and she’s helped empower me when I needed a boost.

I want to see Beyonce, not to meet a woman who’s made timeless jams and classics for our generation. I want to see Beyonce to bask in her Ambiance, and let her music, her words, her story, her power fill my soul and touch my heart. To stand there and become part of her journey as she is so deeply embedded in mine. To witness history and as the Queen said it best, to simply say… I was here.

If I could make the perfect soundtrack it would consist of nothing but Beyonce Tracks, She touches on every topic women this day and age go through. Loyalty. Love. Survival. Friendship. Heartbreak. Empowerment. She makes music that touches my soul. I want to stand in the audience and she sings my story. As she tells me Keep on Surviving. As she tells asks me Who Runs The World? And With so much conviction, I shout back GIRLS. Ask she tells me how bright my Halo is. Simply put as She Upgrades my life. Beyonce is me and you. Shes the Shy girl in your class, and the outspoken girl, the girl who knows all the answers, and the girl who naps in the back, she’s the class clown, and the teacher. Beyonce is every woman. She speaks to the emotions of my soul. She lets me know that what I go through I’m not alone. I don’t look at Beyonce as a songstress. I look at her as the Martin Luther King of our time, with her lyrics she has the ability to empower women WORLDWIDE. I just want to be apart of this journey she takes her fans on.

To see Beyonce is a sweet dream of mine, I wouldn’t even be hurt if I wasn’t picked, because with my dedication, I’m going to see her one day. Dreams are real…All you have to do is believe it, to achieve it. And Whether I’m in that crowd at her concert, or watching her on Youtube, I’m standing in the light of her Halo. I got my angel now.

I can’t tell you why I would be more deserving then anyone else to win these tickets to see Beyonce but what I could tell you is that I could really (emphasis on really) use the outing. I just lost my grandfather on Nov/22/2013 and it’s been hell. He was more like a father to me. The thing that hurts the most being I live with my grandparents is to come home and he not be here. Music has been an outlet for me ever since I was 3. I sing myself but I know, I know, so does everyone else, lol. Music was there when I felt no one else was and has helped me through some rough times like this. Beyonce has been a part of my life since Destiny’s Chid debuted in 1997 with their lead hit single “NO NO NO”. I had the biggest crush on Mrs. Carter then and followed her through out her whole career. Now she is my vocal teacher when ever I need a lesson. I go to my archives and search for one of her many live video’s and I make my choice dependent upon my mood or genre vibe, I study it day in and day out. Lately I haven’t been my complete self with the lost of my grandfather and I have declined so many outings, so what better way for me to have this be my first outing and to honor my grandfather when she sings her hit song Halo. P.S. I tried purchasing tickets months ago but with the demand of Beyonce, not only did the general public show interest but those damn sub-sites bought an abundance of tickets just to resell at a higher price, making it a lot harder for some of us fans to purchase tickets. I was devastated to say the least but I am grateful for opportunities like this which if chosen, will allow me to see her. This would be a great Christmas present. Thanks for Listening and Good Luck to who ever wins!

As you guys can see I refuse to give up on showing you just how much winning the grand prize means to me! I feel like if you guys are willing to give away such an extremely valuable prize, it is my job as a contestant to show you my undying desire and passion to be worthy enough to win. I’ve been at this day by day since you guys made this contest known to the public nonstop because I’ve had so many chances to be at this concert go down the drain and it really has affected me emotionally and that just gives me ALL the more reason to truly and genuinely express my numerous reason as to why want and need to be at this concert! I do not give up and will not give up until I am Def Pen’s grand prize winner! As I can see from the comments on this page many people are experiencing hardships as we all do, and I wish everyone a beautiful blessing and virtue in their lives because they all deserve that. But I believe someone who is diligently working hard everyday AND night to prove why they should win this extremely valuable grand prize that you guys are SO generous to give away, deserves it the most because at least at the end of the day, you’ll know the person you chose will be grateful and worthy of the grand prize. That’s truly all I want to express with all of my heart to you guys. I have so many different problems going on with my family and I but in no way do I want to use that as a sob story or crutch just to win and I can truthfully say that. I feel as if me expressing my complete and utter STANdom and love for Beyonce, her music, her life, artistry, and legacy and CONTINUOUSLY coming back to give you different reasons why I should win 1st place every single day is a deeper more meaningful way of letting you know just how much that grand prize will mean to me. I’ve made strides to already have my transportation set up to get to NY and one of my best friends who LOVES Bey just as much as I do will be going along if you guys choose me to win the tickets. This right here is all I’ve wanted so bad this year you guys. I literally get emotional just talking and thinking about it. I just want y’all to know you’d be giving the grand prize to someone who without ANY doubt is a true Beyonce stan/lover and someone who would show, support, and give you guys at Def Pen SO much love! All I have is my word on this you guys, and my word is something I DO NOT toy around with. I mean EVERYTHING I say! Everything I’ve told you all is truthful and heartfelt. Just please, take this chance on me, I will not make you regret it at all!!!

well for starters, i LOVE Beyonce. like as if i know her personally, but that’s not exactly WHY i should win. this entire year has been exhausting and stressful for me. in a nutshell, my grandmother (who raised me after my mother passed when i was 4) suffered a stroke in the middle of the spring 2013 semester.this semester (fall ’13) has been really hard for me without her being home; she’s admitted in a rehab facility and in and out of the hospital. on top of this i am a full time student with a full time job and responsibilities that i’ve been handling since a very young age. honestly, i feel like i NEED this. it’d be the perfect little escape; even if only for a few hours, my only focus would be this amazing show and the amazing woman on stage. i wouldn’t be able to afford this on my own. i don’t think my circumstances make me any more deserving of this prize than anyone else (i mean, it’s life), but i promise i would appreciate it for the rest of my life. thanks for this chance and God bless <3

I need to win those tickets because I have literally been a fan of hers since forever. The first Destiny’s Child cd was the first album I have ever owned and I have not stopped listening to Beyonce since. There is nobody out there that wants to see her more than I do. I was suppose to go to the concert this year, but needless to say, that did not happen. My mother is a single parent taking care of two kids on her own and she just lost our house. I’m away at school in Louisiana majoring in Public Relations and it has been a very hard year for my family. THis is suppose to be my last year in college, but with all that has happened I don’t know if I’ll be geradauting in May like I thought. Along with losing the house and my school drama, we also lost my grandmother and my great uncle only months apart from eachother. This would mean the world to me and make this horrible year a lot better. Just listening to beyonce’s music and watching her concert videos always lift my spirits. Even if I don’t win thank you guys for this opportunity:)

It would mean the world to me to be able to go see Beyonce in concert. I do not have an incredibly emotional story to tell, or any incredible outstanding factor that would automatically seperate me from the other hopefuls in this contest. But beyonce is more than just music to me. Anyone who knows me knows my obsession with Beyonce. She represents so much of what I aspire to be. Beyond the makeup, music, and fashion she is a wholesome strong woman who took life by the reigns and is getting everything that she wants, because she worked for it and never gave up. She reminds me to work harder and push past all my inhibitions and obstacles because the best things come to those who work for them. Her life is the epitome of a dream fufilled, and so few of us get to reach that status in life. Her passion and ambitious lifestyle keeps me focused on my aspirations in life. Winning this contest and seeing Beyonce in concert would give me the opportunity that I have not been able to myself, but I keep doing these contests and sweepstakes in hopes that I can. I faithfully watch her concerts on Youtube and own a few of them on DVD. Being able to see her in concert has been a lifelong dream of mine. Winning this contest would not only make my list of dreams that much closer to becoming complete, but it’d also be a dream fufilled within itself and I’m not giving up.

I’m on the pursuit of making the rest of my life, the best of my life. From being homeless to living a more fortunate life. I am truly blessed and Beyoncé, solange and The Lord of course have made life a lot easier when I was down. I would love to surprise my best friend who I haven’t seen in 2 years. Things have been rough but Beyoncé has always been a shining light and force for our friendship. I know someone is dying for this but I’m genuinely hoping that I ( we) are blessed to go to this concert. Beyoncé is my hero. The worlds sweetheart. To whoever does win, god bless and enjoy! It has been a tough year financially for my family, and I’ve had to sacrifice my first semester of college to help at home, and I’d love to be a part of this experience! I wish I could have bought the tickets myself, but it would be such a blessing to be able to go because I have been wanting to see this tour since Beyonce announced it back in February. Going to the Mrs. Carter Show would literally top off my entire year and would be the best opportunity I’ve had.

I should win these Beyonce tickets because my sister and I have been distant all our lives and Beyonce is the only thing strong enough to drive out the wedge between us. My sister loves Beyonce and ever since I was little I wanted to give her the gift of seeing her in person but I don’t have the connections or the resources to make it happen myself. This is my chance to to show my sister I love her. Please help!

Beyoncé is my inspiration. For as long as I can remember I have loved her, her music, her ability to sing AND dance at the same time, her regal look and attitude, her beauty. I’ve listened to her music since destinys child always following up with their new music up until she went solo and on and on. I love her and I swear she is my biggest inspiration! As a young singer, I always look up to her talent and try my best to be as great as her. She is a legend in my eyes and my life will be MADE if I ever get to see her live! Please pick me!!

Okay so I thought my other post was my last chance at showing you guys how much I want to be your grand prize winner until you just told me on twitter that the contest closes at 4! I truly feel as if I’m trying and striving my HARDEST to show you why I deserve to be at the Mrs. Carter Show next Thursday! I’ve made I believe now TWELVE posts on this page since the contest STARTED which were all heartfelt, lengthy, and sincere reasons why I myself LOVE and adore Beyonce and why I should win first place. I was literally staying up ALL night last night thinking about this contest and what the results would be! In the midst of my pondering, my queen, BEY DROPS HER 5TH STUDIO ALBUM! It literally amazed me. For Bey to drop her album on the day I find out about this competition that I’ve longed for and prayed to win the grand prize for so long was so coincidental to me! I feel like God was speaking to me through all of those moments today/last night. All I can say to you guys is that I don’t think anyone has tried as hard as me to win these tickets. I have the drive and passion to make all strides to see this woman in concert next Thursday! And I truly believe me living all the way in ATL and not caring to take a 17 hour train ride to NY for this concert speaks volumes. I just pray and hope that conveys to you guys at DPR and is ultimately a deciding factor in why you should choose me as the grand prize winner! No one will appreciate this magnificent prize more than myself I can ASSURE you that!!!

I deserve the tickets not for me, but for my oldest daughter who is in her first year of college and a big Beyoncé fan. She has been an inspiration to me. While I was deployed in 2010, she stepped up and played a big part in taking care of her three younger sisters. Since being back home, I haven’t been able to keep a job, and she has sacrificed to make sure that her younger sisters have what they need first. These tickets will be a way for me to show her my appreciation. I cant afford them so by winning them it will inspire her and let her know that hard work and sacrifice pays off. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.

I love @beyonce!!! I’m not a Stan (well maybe jus a little ????) but a true fan of her body of work. I’m a performing arts girl who has a passion for singing, dancing and acting and I’ve studied ALL of her music videos and a lot of her live performances. Trailing back from her Destiny’s Child days, I know all of the choreography from each video to a tee; especially once Beyonce released her solo debut. Whenever i’m at a party and Beyonce comes on everyone who knows me, knows that I’ll dance each step with no shame (and I’m a shy girl). We’re both virgos and are shy until we get on stage. She truly is an amazing artist and an icon whom I, on a personal level, identify with a lot more now that she’s opened herself up through documentaries and public appearances. Just to be in that element of greatness with her being one of the greatest entertainers of our time, would be a blessing. Ticket prices to be in the building alone costs much more than I could afford. I’d love to have the opportunity to see her up, close and personal (floor seats!!). It would mean soo much to see her and her team perform and to witness the amazing and massive production that goes behind it all. I follow her main backup dancer @ashleymceverett on ig just to get a bigger glimpse into their world. They inspire me to dream and show me that its possible to turn your passions into a career. I hope to gain enough courage to audition to be her backup dancer so I could fulfill my true dream. I know that her stint at the Barclays would be one of the last for her #TMCWT and I’d love to say that I saw my idol perform in NY. Best Christmas gift ever!!! I don’t have much luck in winning but I thought I’d just take a leap of faith and try. Please consider me, I’d be so grateful for this opportunity.

Why should I win these tickets: I could start it off with the usual- I am her biggest fan…..I’ve loved her since the day I first saw her…..I’ve followed her whole career…Even throw in the fact that my birthday is December 19th, and I have no plans….It’d all be true, butthere are more reasons why. I’ve always been a giver.I know what it’s like to feel less than and powerless. I also know what it’s like to have someone notice you and reach out to help- the feeling that you matter, you are someone and you can be anything. The joy of seeing that change in someone helps me move thru my own issues. A few months after I graduated from college, my grandmother fell ill. The doctors didn’t know what was wrong and she didn’t look like she was going to make it. I moved into the hospital with her for a month, and then moved home with her for 6 months, until she was able to walk, talk, and feed herself again. Then, I immediately started working (part time with no benefits) and have had no more than 3 days off at a time in almost two years. One thing that helps me get through my roughest days is music. I’ve listened to her almost daily. For anything I’m going through, she has a song that gets me out of or into any mood. Her music is inspirational, it’s fun, it puts a smile on your face; it makes you happy. I listen to her songs and just zone out, with not a care in the world; just me and my music….So few people who have a worldwide platform choose to use it wisely. Even fewer have a light within them that shines and inspires you to be great and strive for the impossible. She’s the role model I always wanted but didn’t have to ask for. The opportunity to see her in concert is the experience of a lifetime, and it would make my LIFE if I were given the chance to be that close to greatness….. So, please choose me….

Being a college student is difficult when you come from a one parent home. Throughout most of my life I was in foster care and the only thing is that I was able to hold tangible would be Beyonce’s music. Back then she was in Destiny’s Child however once she went solo her Music seem to resonate more with me on whole new levels. She was able to inspire me to be positive, to have drive, and to always strive for the best. Knowing that I could never see her in concert because my foster care parental units would never allow me to see her, the only way for me to connect with her would be by CD. Her music has also influenced my friendship with my best friend to this day with @tfrae. I love what beyonce is about and what she always brings to the table , she is like no other artist out there. One of my largest goals in life would be to be a backup dancer for Beyonce one day. I know that will be difficult because I’m not a female, but once again her music drives me to ascertain that dream. To be able to see Beyonce in concert live, would be more than a dream come true. It would be in that there is hope for all of our dreams and I know seeing her would be one of my most cherished memories. One can watch her perform on DVD or on YouTube, but one can never truly grasp the whole experience behind a screen. To me she is more than a singer, a dancer, an actress, or a performer. She is an artistic force that this world so sorely needs and her music will always live on and the hearts of those that can truly appreciate her. Thank you for letting me share my story.

I should win because I have never been to a Beyonce concert ever in my life and I have always wanted to go. It’s one of the things on my “List of Accomplishments” that I would love to see manifest! I’ve always been a fan of Beyonce since she was apart of the group, Girls Tyme, and has always been my inspiration to succeed in whatever it is I sought my mind to do! She has never taken no for an answer, and always beaten the odds when people told her she wasn’t able to. She has always motivated me along with others to never give up on your dreams, to dream bigger, and always, always, always, put God first in all that you do! I think if it wasn’t for Beyonce, I would not have the drive that I have today to finish out my Masters in Political Science and continue on with my education to attend Law School and become the Attorney that I seek to become in the near future!! Thank you my Virgo sister (my birthday is on September 17th) for blessing me and encouraging me through your songs when I felt like giving up on my dreams; when folks used to tell me I wasn’t smart enough or pretty enough to do certain things; even when I didn’t have the strength to believe in myself at times. Beyonce, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for those encouraging moments when I felt like I was going to lose my paw paw during the time that he was sick and didn’t know if he was going to see the next day (he also loves your music as well :-D). I would listen to “Thank You” Medley or an interview of yours on how important family is to you, and I would cheer up right away!! Thank you Beyonce for everything and I pray that the Lord would allow us to meet in person one day and I hope to see you in concert real soon!!

I could just be sitting there watching one of her performances on youtube, in tears just watching it because she truly amazes me. Even my one year old and my 3 year old loves her, its crazy because any song of hers that I listen to, they recognize the sound of her voice, they like her videos too, its just crazy. Beyonce is my idol, my inspiration, she’s a stunning example for a role model. I would like to win because i am a big fan of beyonce and i love her music and voice more then any other. Eventhough i am only 15 i feel like I’ve known her for all my life because i understand her music. It has always been my dream to go to one of her concerts because i have never been to one before due to my mom not being able to pay right now. I feel like this is a lifetime opportunity because when i grow up i want to be a famous singer and dancer just like you and just by watching you on my computer screen and all that you’ve been through lets me know i can. Even if i dont win the tickets i still tried for what i wanted and this will not be the last time you hear about me because i love you and you are my role model for life. P.s i love your new album.
