Is there trouble in paradise?
It’s probably nothing but I’ve noticed from the recent injuries that their results have been tighter than they should be.
I mean when Chris Paul ain’t playing they might as well jack it in but he’s now back from his hamstring injury so that’s fine.
But now JJ Redick is out 6-8 weeks with a broken hand (Willie Green will replace Redick for tonight’s game against Indiana) and we don’t realise how valuable Redick and Jared Dudley are.
Remember the Playoffs last year. When Chris Paul had a bad game? Who was going to take control of the Clips offense? DeAndre Jordan?
Yea no thanks. So that’s why they brought in Redick and Dudley. Two reliable shooters that have a simple job and do it. Like Ray Allen and Shane Battier for Miami.
Imagine if Allen and Battier were both out for the season…
See what I’m getting at?
Expect the Clips to lose the occasional game not because a player on the other team hits 45, but because JJ Redick wasn’t there to hit his usual jumpshots.
