Will Ferrell was involved in a serious car accident on Thursday night. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the reported Orange County incident.
Rafael Reynoso, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol said that the 50-year old SNL alum was in a two-car crash at about 11 p.m. along Interstate 5.
Ferrell’s car was hit by another and flipped according to Reynoso. Three other people were in the car with Ferrell. Everyone in the car suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital. No one suffered life-threatening injuries and it is unknown if Ferrell has been released from the hospital yet.
Video taken at the scene shows Ferrell conscious while talking on his phone as he was being loaded into an ambulance.
The status of the other driver is unknown but no arrests or citations have been made at this point; drugs and alcohol are not suspected to have played a part in the incident.
