Netflix is gearing up for a month filled with true crime documentaries. Yesterday, the streaming platform rolled out the trailer for their upcoming series, The Sons of Sam: A Descent Into Darkness. Now, the streaming giant is entering into the promotion stage of yet another true-crime documentary series called Why Did You Kill Me?
“The line between justice and revenge blurs when a devastated family uses social media to track down the people who killed 24-year-old Crystal Theobald,” the description reads.
As the description explains, the documentary follows the story of the Theobald family searches for answers following the murder of Crystal Theobald. Through their search, they attempt to catfish a gang they believe the killer is affiliated. From there, things take on a life of their own. Violence, betrayal, lies and larger-than-life stories are tied to this real-life catastrophe.
