HBO has apparently found a new home in the city of Washington, D.C. Earlier this week, the premium cable network shared the first look at Andrew Callaghan’s documentary, This Place Rules. Just a few days later, the network has returned to the nation’s capital, but they are not focused on the bizarre nature of today’s political climate. This time around, the producers of Veep and Succession are looking back at the Nixon administration and the Watergate Hotel scandal that rocked the nation.
HBO is ready to take a deeper look at the Nixon administration and the infamous Watergate scandal. Through the performances of Justin Theroux and Woody Harrelson, White House Plumbers will tell a story of politics, power and the desire to win at all costs.
“White House Plumbers tells the story of how Nixon’s own political saboteurs and Watergate masterminds, E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, accidentally toppled the presidency they were zealously trying to protect,” the film’s description reads.
Unlike This Place Rules, this film will not arrive just yet. Check out the trailer below and be on the look out for the film to drop in March 2023.
