Hulu & Amazon have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to original content but they are making steady strides. No stride will be steadier than August for both streaming services as they get exclusive originals that will have fans wanting to sign up for all 3 streaming services. With Amazon introducing Jack Ryan and Hulu debuting Bachelor’s in Paradise, it makes for the perfect mix of reality TV and action for you to watch.
Without further ado here is everything coming to Hulu & Amazon Prime in August.
The Hulu Originals:
Bachelor In Paradise (Season 5)
I don’t usually like reality TV. No scratch that, I hate reality TV. But despite that, it totals up to about half of the television that most people watch daily so we have to discuss it. Not only that but this season’s bachelor of paradise has a funny beginning to it. 2 of the bachelors were kicked off very early into the shows shooting because they were too intoxicated and pretty much just used the show as a vacation. Which I find hilarious because I feel like I would do the same thing. Regardless, you can watch it all unfold August 7th.
Stan Against Evil (Season 2)
John C. McGinley (“Scrubs”) stars in this comedy-horror series as sour, judgmental sheriff Stan Miller, who is forced to give up his job because of an angry outburst at a most inopportune moment — his wife’s funeral. However, when both soon realize something is not quite right in their sleepy New Hampshire town — which just so happens to be built on the site of a massive 17th-century witch burning — Stan and Evie form an unlikely alliance to bravely battle a plague of spine-chilling demons. You can see them exercise their demons August 16th on Hulu.
The Amazon Prime Originals:
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan
So Jim from the office decided to join the CIA. John Krasinski will take on the infamous Tom Clancy novels character ‘Jack Ryan’ who is pretty much this guy who gets thrown into the CIA not knowing anything about covert ops and becomes a kick-ass agent that helps save the world. The novels themselves were amazing and Krasinski himself is a great actor so there would be no surprise to see this show blow up. Amazon has been promoting it everywhere and you can catch all the action August 31st.
