Westside Gunn is kicking off the holiday weekend with brand new music. The Griselda Records artist has dropped a brand new project called Flygod Is An Awesome God. Flygod Is An Awesome God comes with twelve new tracks like “Lakers vs. Rockets,” “Dance Floor Love” and more. In addition, the project features contributions from Raekwon, Madlib, DJ Muggs, Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher and more.
Westside Gunn’s Flygod Is An Awesome God is a follow-up to Benny The Butcher’s The Plugs I Met. Westside Gunn’s labelmate capped of the month of June with a seven track project. In addition, Benny The Butcher collaborated with Pusha T, Black Thought, Jadakiss and more for this project.
Westside Gunn’s Flygod Is An Awesome God is also a lead in for his next project. The New York rapper let fans know that he would be linking up with Conway Machine and Benny The Butcher to work on a group album. The project is expected to be Griselda’s debut project on Shady Records. No release date has been announced, but all signs point towards a 2019 release date.
