The Los Angeles Clippers Forward Wesley Johnson will decline his player option and become a free agent this offseason. Guard Austin Rivers also decided that he will decline his player option, which means the Clippers will potentially lose two keys players from their bench.
According to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times:
Clips Wes Johnson will not pick up his player option for next season at $1.2 million, per agent. But Johnson would like to return to Clips

Wesley Johnson struggled in a Clippers uniform, averaging 6.9 points and 3 rebounds this season in Los Angeles. He wants to come back to Los Angeles, I mean he’s spent most of his career there if you think of his time in a Lakers uniform too. Despite not having his best season, Wesley Johnson could be an asset to teams that need an athletic Forward for them. Johnson would have earned $1.2 million a year so you could say he might betting on himself. There will be a market for Johnson who is a wing that fits the mold in today’s NBA. Someone will give him a deal.
