The Los Angeles Clippers have signed Wesley Johnson to a minimum deal. After losing DeAndre Jordan, adding Lance Stephenson and Paul Pierce, they have added another wing presence that will bolster their defense.
According to Shams Charania of RealGM:
Free agent forward Wesley Johnson will commit to a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, league sources tell RealGM. Terms being discussed.

Wes Johnson has agreed to join the Clippers on a minimum deal, I’m told. @ShamsCharania reported he was headed that way.

With the flexibility the Clippers have, Johnson doesn’t affect their salary cap too much for them to hit. With no Matt Barnes, Paul Pierce and Johnson will be the main players playing small forward. Johnson was targeted by the Clippers before and he won’t be going anywhere far. All he has to do is switch locker rooms and jerseys.
The Clippers have more problems to deal with. They still don’t have a starting center and the only guy they can find is JaVale McGee.
