For nearly two decades, Wendy Williams has dominated talk shows, radio shows and much more. However, she has had to take a step back from the world of media in recent weeks. The daytime talk show host has been dealing with complications from Graves disease, a rare and life threatening immune disorder. Williams revealed publicly that she was diagnosed with the disease over a year ago.
Since January 18th, Williams has been away from her daytime talk show as he recovers from her most recent complications. In her absence, the show has had a number of guests come in to fill her spot as host. Nick Cannon, KeKe Palmer and a number of other celebrities have come in to hold down the show recently. However, it appears that Williams will soon return to fulfill her lead host role.
It was announced today that Wendy Williams will return as the host of The Wendy Williams Show on March 4th. Following the announcement, representatives from the show stated, “Wendy Williams is an incredible talent with the most unique voice in daytime.” Williams will return just in time for the show’s tenth anniversary later this season.
