Washington Wizards are in a dramatic downward spiral and it’s not exactly the right time for that to happen. Wizards have now lost 13 of their last 18 game and they’ve fallen to fifth in the Eastern Conference.
There isn’t much left the team can do at this point in the season, but you can tell that they’re at least trying to make a small change to something.
It now seems like the Wizards will be signing former New York Knicks guard, Toure’ Murry.

With Garrett Temple on the shelf indefinitely with a right hamstring strain, the Wizards have moved to bring in Toure’ Murry on a 10-day contract though it’s unclear if he’ll be in uniform for Thursday’s game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies, CSNwashington.com confirmed with two persons with knowledge of the situation.
Will Bynum, who recently returned from a stint in China, is the Wizards’ top target to fill the roster spot created when Glen Rice Jr. was waived in January. Bynum, however, has a hamstring injury as well and isn’t ready.
Toure’ Murry has some great length to play the point guard position and that makes him intriguing as a prospect, but the Wizards aren’t exactly in the position to develop him. He’ll likely fill in Garrett Temple’s role, while Temple sits as. Murry will be looked at as a secondary ball-handler, a wing who distributes well for his position.
