David Lee returned for the first time since November 5th to help the Warriors take on the Sacramento Kings. The bench stole the night for Golden State though scoring 62 points in total to help out the Splash Brothers who had 37 on the night. Warriors defeated the Kings 128-108.
had 12 points and 11 assists and Festus Ezeli scored a career-high 15 points to go with 6 rebounds in place of injured center Andrew Bogut, helping the Warriors hold a big lead most of the way. Andre Iguodala had a fantastic performance coming off the bench for the Warriors, scoring 12 points with 4 assists. Justin Holiday had 18 points with 3 rebounds and 3 assists on the night to lead the bench. The 18 points were also Holiday’s career-high. Marreese Speights had 12 points on the night also coming off the bench. Lee scored 6 points with 7 rebounds off the bench.
Golden State had 36 team assists, 45 rebounds and shot 54% from the field.
DeMarcus Cousins had 22 points and 8 rebounds, and Darren Collison scored 17 points with 5 assists in Sacramento’s latest blowout loss to its North Cali rival. Rudy Gay had 13 points with 9 rebounds and Ben McLemore had 11 points. Omri Casspi scored 16 points off the bench with 8 rebounds and Carl Landry joined him off the bench to score 12.
The Warriors have won six consecutive games in the series versus the Kings, including all 4 matchups last season.
