Golden State Warriors have decided to bring back an exciting former UNC Tar Heel, small forward James Michael McAdoo.
McAdoo came on to the Dubs earlier this season and is a nice young piece that could develop under Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala.
The following from Shams Charania of RealGM.com
James Michael McAdoo has reached agreement to sign a second 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors on Monday, a league source told RealGM.
McAdoo recently completed a 10-day stint with the Warriors before returning to the NBA D-League. In his rookie debut on Jan. 19 against Denver, McAdoo scored 11 points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked one shot in 12 minutes.
The 6-foot-9 forward has totaled 14 points and 5-of-7 shooting in 19 minutes with Golden State.
McAdoo has had a 39-point, 11-rebound performance and a 36-point, 15-rebound output in two games since his return to Santa Cruz in the D-League. He is averaging 19.3 points and 9.6 rebounds with Santa Cruz.
The Warriors continue to be on top of the Western Conference standings and bringing McAdoo can only help the team, not hurt.
Warriors did also recall center Festus Ezeli from their D-League affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors after he finished his rehab assignment.
