“(McAdoo) ultimately chose Golden State because of their initial investment in his development and career,” his agent Jim Tanner said.

The Warriors had signed McAdoo before training camp but then waived him before the season and assigned him to their D-League affiliate.
McAdoo was a spotlight talent at North Carolina. He has versatility and mobility as a rangy “tweener” forward. With not much youth on the Warriors’ front line outside of Draymond Green, perhaps Steve Kerr and co. will try to help establish and develop McAdoo with this new opportunity to show he can contribute at the highest level.
