Starting a season 19-2 and you would think a team like the Golden State Warriors are fine. I mean they’re off to the best start in franchise history, including the best start by a rookie head coach in the form of Steve Kerr. They have the leading candidate for the MVP award in Steph Curry, and two guys who are in the conversation for Sixth Man of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in Marreese Speights for Sixth Man and Andrew Bogut for Defensive Player.
Now they’re trying to completely dominate the league and bring in the greatest three point shooter of all-time, Ray Allen.
From NBC Bay Area.
Warriors GM Bob Myers told 95.7 FM “The Game” Thursday that the club has in fact reached out to Allen’s representatives but said, “it’s uncertain as to what Ray wants to do.”
“Here’s the problem,” Myers explained. “We don’t have enough minutes as it is so it’s just a question of chemistry.”
I think, like the saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. So for the Warriors, keep the team the way it’s going.
It’s going to be hard enough to get minutes flowing if Allen would join and you still have David Lee that has to come back from injury.

Hearing Ray Allen is telling teams “talk to me in January” will make a decision in February. Cavs still the favorite.

Sounds a little “Roger Clemensish” or is that just me?
