For the 2018-19 NBA season the current reigning NBA Champion Golden State Warriors are slated to move from Oakland to San Francisco and move away from Oracle and into a new arena.
The Warriors currently have the oldest arena in the NBA and the new proposals for their San Francisco arena will feature state-of-the-art features and amenities. It’s a dramatic upgrade from Oracle Arena which originally opened in 1966. The proposal is currently set for the 12 acre area at San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood. The new arena will sit next to the bay and will overlook the water.
