Disney has begun work on a live action adaptation of ‘Tarzan’
Alexander Skarsgård is set to play the orphan who was raised by gorillas. Margot Robbie will play scientist and Tarzan’s love interest Jane Porter. Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz are also set to star in the film.
David Yates, who directed the last four ‘Harry Potter’ films will direct the adaptation.
‘Tarzan’ is expected to swing into theaters on July 1, 2016.
