Sacramento Kings general manager Vlade Divac is very confident about his team’s young nucleus:

“I think it’s a super team, just young.”
The young core that Divac speaks so fondly of consists of the following players: Marvin Bagley III, Bogdan Bogdanovic, De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield.
That’s not a bad assortment of young players, but it isn’t exactly the makings of a “super team.” Teams like the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets almost certainly have better young cores.
That being said, we can’t truly successfully evaluate young talent at this phase in their careers, especially a player like Bagley, who has yet to play a single NBA minute.
The Kings drafted Bagley second overall in Thursday night’s 2018 NBA Draft. It was a contentious pick, as many believed players like Luka Doncic and Jaren Jackson Jr. were significantly better prospects. The Kings believe in Bagley, though, and they got their guy.
Talent evaluation is a difficult thing (as the Kings know very well). Either Divac is wrong here, or pretty much everybody else is. We’ll see.
