Alright Vlade Divac. Let’s get this one over and done with. I mean if the Sacramento Kings were a Playoff caliber team, they would be in the Playoffs no?
I mean it’s simple. If you think you’re team is Playoff ready, they would be in the Playoffs, if they don’t, they’re either trash or got unlucky. The Sacramento Kings are more in the middle, they’re mediocre. They’re not the Lakers or the Suns bad, but they’re certainly not a Playoff team. Past DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay there’s not much behind them. But Vlade Divac is adamant when he says that the Kings are legit.
“In terms of results, this team, with the talent we put together in the summertime should be in the playoffs,” Divac said. “We didn’t do it for some reason and after the season, we’ll sit down and find what was the problem and we’ll fix those things.”
Sitting down in the summer and “fixing those things” isn’t exactly what it says on the tin. Especially the fixing part. There are several things wrong with the Sacramento Kings. One of them is their crazy owner who loves making kneejerk decisions and worrying about the consequences later. But yes. Sitting down and finding the problems is certainly half the battle.
