With the Paul George news dominating the NBA universe at the moment. Spare a thought for our favourite Serbian Vlade Divac, as according to Yahoo! Sports he has gone through emergency stomach surgery in his native Serbia.
Doctors said Saturday in a statement that Divac was admitted to a Belgrade hospital after feeling ”strong pains in his stomach.”
The statement said his life was not threatened. It did not specify his exact health problem.
We all know Divac for his role in the Lakers with Magic, being part of that Sacramento squad in the early 2000’s and of course being good friends with the late Drazen Petrovic as the 30 for 30 documentary Once Brothers depicted.
