Vinny Curry was just cut by the Philadelphia Eagles due to cap issues on Friday. His three-year deal includes a base value of $23 million with $11 million in guarantees, according to Ian Rapoport. He has a chance to make up to $27 million.
There was an attempt to keep Curry on by the Eagles but he wouldn’t restructure his contract. In his first full season as a starter, Curry racked up 43 tackles and three sacks this triggered a five million guarantee in his contract that he would have received if he remained in Philadelphia through Sunday.
