While he may not always get the shine he deserves, Vince Staples has carved out a successful lane for himself. In seven years, Staples has managed to put together two studio albums, two extended plays, four mixtapes and over twenty singles. In addition, he’s been able to collaborate with music’s biggest names such as Common, Donald Glover, Mac Miller and more. Most recently, he made an appearance on the critically acclaimed soundtrack for Black Panther.
When he’s not making music, he’s probably in front of a camera. In recent months, Staples has made appearances on Joe Budden’s series, The Pull Up and Danny Brown’s Live at the Majestic Documentary. Staples has also made appearance on various Sprite commercials, The Simpsons, The Daily Show, American Dad and just about every major network you can think of. Currently, Staples is gearing up to star in a new indie film called Punk.
Before he takes to the big screen, Vince Staples has decided to drop off a new project called FM! The surprise project was announced early Thursday along with a tracklist full of new music. Vince’s newest project features eleven tracks with production from Kenny Beats, Hagler and more.
