Vin Diesel has given an update on the upcoming sequel in the ‘xXx’ franchise.
In an interview with Collider, The ‘Fast & Furious’ star said they will start filming the third film in the Philippines.
“I am going to do the next xXx which will be filming in part in the Philippines, which I’m very, very, very excited about,” said Diesel.
The film was originally titled ;’xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage’ back in 2002 but was shelved.
Although Diesel starred in the original, Ice Cube filled in for him in ‘xXx 2: State of the Union’.
Back in January, Diesel said the script was completed and he wanted Katy Perry to star opposite him. Odd combo.
‘xXx 3’ has yet to get a release date.
