It’s a celebration.. VILLA has come a long way and all year they have celebrated this milestone the right way. 25 Years, I mean who wouldn’t go all out? I know I did for my 25th birthday. So VILLA do your thing.
To bring it all to an end they will be celebrating for a week and they’re calling it #ThePerfectWeek. From Nov 21st – Dec 1st we will be in for a wild ride.

25 years in the making…On April 22, 1989, the Movement began. The Lutz Family—Mr. Chris, Ms. Ruth, Jason, Jeremy, and Nellie—had an audacious DREAM to open a sneaker store outside of Reading, PA. A man by the name of Bob Wright purchased the first sneaker, an Etonic Trans Am trainer for $38.99. The family felt like they were on top of the world. No Nike account. No Timberland account. No Reebok account. For the first year and a half, the company survived because of customer service and commitment to community. Mr. Chris sold whatever he got his hands on and the customers continued to come back.Like most movements, the founders’ aspirations were humbler than the eventual outcome. The aim was to do well while doing good for the Reading community. The outcome is an audacious DREAM transformed into a national platform to support the revitalization of urban America.Today, VILLA has nearly 100 store locations across 10 states and a rapidly growing digital presence. We went from offering a small, limited brand selection to developing an incredibly strong vendor community—including, limited releases from Nike and Jordan and exclusive product from Timberland, Reebok, Adidas, and other brands. However, we are most proud of our ability to leverage VILLA’s success to help members of our community achieve their dreams.The only word to describe VILLA’s 25-year run is “PERFECT.” We owe our success to our customers’ continuous passion for the VILLA movement.
