The deal is very heavily incentive laid. He can earn up to $4 million if he plays a majority of the season. Andrew Sendejo, who agreed to a deal earlier in the week, joins Griffin in the Vikings secondary. The team made big plays for Bengals safeties George Iloka and Reggie Nelson.
Having said that Griffin will be expected to start with Harrison Smith as the other safety. Coming off a NFC North title, the Vikings continue to try to improve. They also added Alex Boone earlier in the day. Guard Mike Harris and linebackers Emmanuel Lamur and Travis Lewis were the other players the team added today.
