This release stems back to the NFC Wildcard playoff game where Walsh missed a 27 yard game winning field goal in the final seconds. Walsh, 26, has missed 4 costly extra points this season that has proved to be devastating to the Vikings 2016 season.
The man replacing Blair Wash comes in the form of Kai Forbath. In 2015 he spent time with the Redskins and Saints going 10-15 on field goal attempts. However there is some consistency in Forbath’s game as he only missed 1 extra point last season in 35 attempts.
