The first highlight play for Marc Gasol happened in the first quarter. Marc Gasol drove the lane, put up a hook shot, was bumped by Knicks bigs Cole Aldrich and Jason Smith, and made the shot!
What a shot! A few minutes later he had this fancy two-handed bounce pass to teammate Zach Randolph in the post for the assist.
Now just to add to ‘Big Spain’s’ highlight reel, in the fourth quarter, Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley found Gasol cutting to the paint, and Marc threw this beautiful no-look pass to Zach Randolph for another assist.
Marc Gasol had a great game overall, scoring 21 points on 9-17 shooting from the field. He also grabbed 8 boards and ended with 3 assists. It was a successful night for Marc and the Grizzlies in MSG.
