In the Washington Wizards 110-107 win over the Charlotte Hornets in double overtime, the Wizards introduced Nitin Ramachandran as their starting point guard. Ramachandran is currently battling brain cancer, and was given this opportunity as a part of the Make A Wish Foundation.
After the game, John Wall credited Nitin with guiding the Wizards to victory after the game in his post game interview that he completed with Nitin by his side. This is another example of John Wall being a class act, and taking his time to make a kid’s dreams come true. Wall has again and again spent time with charitable organizations to help give back to the community, especially in Washington.
Wall may continue to spend time with Nitin as he did with his friend Miyah, who passed away from cancer on December 8th 2014. Wall truly cares about these children who become his friends, which was shown in his post game interview once Miyah passed away. Let us all hope the best for Nitin, and pray for a full and speedy recovery from this disease.
