A recent trend in the NBA is the four point play. Jamal Crawford lead the league with four point plays last year and in the preseason Cleveland forward Kevin Love and Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade both attempted three point shots, got fouled and then proceeded to sink the three, as well as finish it off with a free throw. Kevin Love was 5 of 7 from downtown against Jabari Parker and the Bucks. Wade was 2 of 3 from 3 in a loss to the Hawks and Al Horford.
