When the shot clock was running down for the Orlando Magic, their hopes of scoring on this possession seemed little to none. Then Tobias Harris played hero for the Magic.
Nikola Vucevic shot a three at the end of the shot clock, which is is way out of the big man’s range. Vucevic missed the shot, but luckily for the Magic, Dewayne Dedmon got the offensive board. Dedmon passed the ball to Vucevic, who quickly passed the ball to Elfrid Payton, who found Tobias Harris running straight through the lane. The athletic Harris, cutting in the paint, went up for the dunk. He threw the ball down hard and slammed on Tiago Splitter in the process.
The Spurs beat the Magic tonight 103-91 in Orlando. Aron Baynes lead the way in scoring for the Spurs, scoring 18 points in 24 minutes off the bench tonight. Victor Oladipo had the game high in scoring with 24 points to go along with 7 rebounds. The man who posterized Splitter, Tobias Harris, ended the game with 18 points and 7 rebounds. The Magic’s center, Nikola Vucevic, also had a great game with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists along with 3 blocks. Although the Magic had good individual output, the team could not get enough done to take down the San Antonio Spurs.
