The San Antonio Spurs have finally gotten themselves starting, winning 7 games in a row. They are all finally healthy and ready to make a push for a top place in the Western Conference. Earlier in the season a lot of the troubles surrounding the Spurs, was their health, especially Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker, who both just didn’t seem to be able to stay healthy. When health is so important to a team, you don’t want one of your main guys coming down hurt, that’s what happened late last night against the Toronto Raptors for the San Antonio Spurs.
Watch Tim Duncan’s injury in the last minute:
According to Dan McCarney of MySanAntonio.com:
““They told us right away it was nothing big,” said Tony Parker, who CONTINUED his strong play with 23 points and nine assists.
Said coach Gregg Popovich, “He hyperextended his elbow. I think he will be OK. I think, but I don’t know. We’ll see. I think he’s OK.”
An additional team source also indicated the injury was not serious.”
Good news for Mr. Fundamental and the Spurs.
