Sonny Weems is returning to the NBA and he will be a member of the upstart Phoenix Suns. This offseason Weems signed a two-year deal with Phoenix and maybe believed it would be good for the Suns, a team continuing to build on their young and athletic roster.
They might have a few questions going into the season concerning one of their stars in Markieff Morris but I personally have a few questions concerning the above video as Sonny Weems took a page from the book of the late, great Darryl Dawkins.
First, what kind of cell phone is being used to record this video? There is no way that any modern phone could have taken this video and produced it for the masses. A motorola razr had to be used in the making of the video.
Second, what material is that rim made out of? For the rim to be ripped down so violently, it makes one think that the rim was made out of plastic or plaster because it was just ripped down with great anger and vigor.
All jokes aside, this was one mean dunk by Weems and hopefully he can do it on the court for the Suns this season.
