For the third time this season, Stephen Curry snapped against an opponent for 40 plus points. He dropped 40 on opening night against the New Orleans Pelicans and a couple of nights later, he dropped 53 on those same Pelicans.
So when the Warriors traveled to the Midwest to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves with young rookie Karl-Anthony Towns and second year sensation Andrew Wiggins leading the Wolves.
Little did the young stars know, Stephen Curry was having himself one of those classic Stephen Curry nights.
Curry went off for 46 points on 15-25 shooting including going 8-13 from three point range with five rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes played. Curry also had his fourth 20 point quarter when he dropped 21 in the first quarter. This game was also Stephen Curry’s new career high when playing in Minnesota.
Curry had himself a great night but he now only needs to make three more three-pointers to pass his dad on the All-Time three-point shots made list.
