Steph Curry is a pretty good basketball player. The reigning MVP and front-runner to repeat proved that once again in Friday night’s 135-116 win over the Phoenix Suns. The Warriors’ point guard and superstar scored 41 points and dished out 8 assists in only 31 minutes of play, sitting out the entire fourth quarter.
Among the scoring outburst, Curry made nine threes, three short of the single-game NBA record. Additionally, Curry made several of his now patented ridiculous plays handling the ball and releasing shots that no one else in the NBA would dream of attempting. Steph is clearly far and away the leader in the MVP race through the first month of the season and he showed that once again in this game leading his team to their 17th straight win to start the season.
