The latest installment of the great animated YouTube series ‘Spurs Special Forces‘, from creator Matt Hill, takes us back into the summer months when it seemed like every major NBA team was doing all they could to secure the talents of LaMarcus Aldridge.
One of the stories that the national media missed was how the San Antonio Spurs almost missed out on bringing in LaMarcus Aldridge because of a plotting and scheming Phil Jackson and Derek Fisher. As the story goes, Jackson kidnapped Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and his star players Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili had to come save him as Kawhi Leonard entertained LaMarcus.
This is just another great installment of the greatest story never told. The Spurs Special forces.
