Last night at Wrestlemania 32, the New Day made a big entrance in their first ‘Mania as a trio tag team and they went up against the international foursome, the League of Nations or also known as the ‘Lads’.
While the match between the two factions was a little lackluster, given the pageantry surrounding it, there was a nice moment after the League of Nations picked up the win. King Barrett, who has been rumored to be leaving the WWE after his contract ends, got a proper sendoff. The British star grabbed the mic and issued a challenge to any trio out there that believes they could handle the League of Nations. Little did the King know, there was a group with a little big of attitude ready to answer their challenge.
First, Shawn Michaels aka HBK aka the Heartbreak Kid aka Mr.Wrestlemania came out and the crowd exploded. Following him was Mick Foley aka Cactus Jack aka Dude Love and finally, Texas erupted when the music for Stone Cold Steve Austin hit and the Texas Rattlesnake joined the group, ready to go down to the ring and beat up anyone who got in their way. And the group did just that when they beat the League of Nations and even gave Xavier Woods of the New Day a parting gift.
