Over the weekend Mexican & U.S. authorities captured the most powerful drug lord in the world, Joaquín ‘Chapo’ Guzmán. El Chapo was able to elude capture for 13 years. Guzman used bribery & fear to keep his Sinaloa drug empire strong. Another tactic he also used was secret tunnels that to at least 7 homes owned y Guzman.
Even when authorities were hot on his tail Chapo was able to slip into one of his secret passages and skip into another part of down. The video above (released by Mexican officials) shows one of the many tunnels he had built. Some ranging in the million dollar price tag.
