Russell Westbrook may be physically unable to stop getting triple-doubles. The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard recorded his league-leading thirteenth triple-double in a win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
Westbrook dropped 20 points, 10 assists, and 15 rebounds in only 32 minutes of playing time. Additionally, the guard got involved on the defensive end with two blocks and one steal. His latest triple-double put him in elite company as he tied Grant Hill and Jason Kidd as the only other players to record thirteen of them in a season in the past 25 years.
Although it came against the Sixers, it was yet another impressive outing from Westbrook who continued his strong season. Most importantly, the Thunder were able to come away with the win, upping their season record to 46-22.
