Oklahoma City Thunder star guard Russell Westbrook got his 11th triple-double of the season against the Houston Rockets. Westbrook’s triple-double’s this season have come in an amazing fashion, while he wont end the season anywhere near the NBA record for most triple-doubles in a season with 41 by Oscar Robertson, what he’s doing is still amazing.
Westbrook scored 40 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds on the day while shooting 12-29 from the field including 4-11 from 3 point land and 12-15 from the free throw line. Westbrook’s 40 wasn’t enough though as he got outdone by one of his former teammates, James Harden and the Rockets.
Rockets ended up with the win over the Thunder after a late OKC run but James Harden dropped 41 and made sure that his team continues to fight for a second seed in the Western Conference.
