The 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend came and went just a few weeks ago, and the event took over New Orleans for about a week. The main contests took place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but the days before also saw some exciting action. One day, in particular, is the NBA All-Star media day. That day is really for some interesting quotes and some fun from members of the press. The New Orleans Pelicans hosted the All-Star festivities this year, and they made the most of the media day.
Chris Trew, a local comedian in NOLA, took the mic for the Pelicans and talked to some of the members of the 2017 NBA All-Star weekend. Instead of asking questions, like everyone else does, for the most part, Trew elected to compete with some of the world’s best athletes in a classic game of rock, paper, scissors. From the slam dunk contest participants to three-point challenge shooters and even the NBA All-Stars themselves, Trew took on all challengers and made the best of his 2017 NBA All-Star weekend experience.
Trew went up against included DeMarcus Cousins, Gordon Hayward, Draymond Green, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Glenn Robinson III, Eric Gordon.
