Ricky Rubio is not a very good three point shooter. But on Friday, the Minnesota Timberwolves point guard changed the narrative if only for one night.
Rubio hit the biggest shot of the game, a three-pointer just before the buzzer to lead his team to a 99-96 victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
With the Thunder focusing on protecting the paint against the poor-shooting Wolves, Rubio ended up wide open. The Spaniard rose up and calmly shot what would be the eventual game-winner. The shot also resulted in a fantastic celebration as Ricky simply walked away from the carnage like an action-movie hero.
The Wolves are now 21-45 on the season.
