After the Dallas Mavericks fought off the Houston Rockets to avoid being swept out of the playoffs, the Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle took to his postgame interview to share a few thoughts about the team and game 4 as a whole.
Carlisle was recently fined by the NBA after he made comments criticizing the referees following the Mavs game 3 loss to the Rockets.
So Carlisle did what anyone would do following a $25,000 fine from the league. He kept his mouth shut. Instead of just literally keeping it shut, he actually forced it to be shut and he taped to closed.
The Mavericks hope a vocal Carlisle will lead them to a victory in game 5 to continue fighting for their playoff lives.
