Reggie Jackson’s divorce with the Oklahoma City Thunder wasn’t pretty but his marriage with the Detroit Pistons has been going well so far. As the leading man, running the offense for the Motor City revival, Jackson has been the driving force behind the Pistons offense this season and he’s been the man behind the Stan Van Gundy plan.
SVG is also one of the most hilarious coaches in the NBA and in this recent episode of the ‘Ride Along’ series presented by VICE Sports, Reggie Jackson impersonates his coach. He also talks about his return to Oklahoma City and playing his old team in the Thunder, Russell Westbrook and what it was like growing up in a military family overseas.
Jackson and the Pistons were eliminated from the 2016 NBA playoffs last night at the hands of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers but the young squad has a lot to look forward too especially with Jackson under contract for the forseeable future and hopefully, they will be able to sign Andre Drummond to a long term deal. But for now, the Pistons can relish in the fact they went to the playoffs for the first time since 2009 and they have a bright road ahead of them.
