After trying to wrestle the ball away from referee David Jones while J.J. Hickson was at the line, Johnson was thrown out when the ref took umbrage at something.
He then threw his mouthpiece – hitting Jones in the back with it – as he was being held back by teammates and coaching staff.
Lesson learned kids : Never play with the refs ball.
