Ramon Sessions did more than he was asked of in relief of John Wall, and was able to get this layup to fall even though he lost the ball in the air, and got fouled on the play. After hitting the free throw rewarded after the and-1, Sessions tied the game at 75 with 9:19 left, and brought the Wizards back after being down by double-digits.
For somebody who does not play a lot, it was amazing to see Ramon Sessions play like he is a full-time starter in the league. Anybody watching believed Sessions really belonged there, and deserved to be a starting point guard for a team that is dominating in the playoffs. If Sessions can continue to produce with plays like this, he could find himself in a larger role off the bench for Washington this postseason, and through a period of time once this season comes to and end.
